Can a chicken egg be sustainable? Yes, of course! Just like a happy chicken lays the healthiest eggs. At the Kaiser poultry farm in Stühlingen, you can experience first hand how this works.

The heart of the family business is Johanna Kaiser's branch of the business. Here the chickens live in modern stables with an attached winter garden where they can scratch around and take sand baths. The Kaisers grow the grain for their chickens themselves, naturally without using genetic engineering. The eggs are collected on the farm, sorted by size and, depending on the customer's wishes, packed in environmentally friendly egg cartons made from recycled paper for immediate delivery using their own vehicles.

Animal welfare is important to you...

...that's why Johanna Kaiser looks after her chickens lovingly and provides them with activities to keep them occupied, eg with hay nets. Weak or injured animals are quarantined for observation and recovery. The chickens also like to take treats, eg spelt grains, and already know what it means when you come to them in the barn. The entire barn climate is constantly monitored. To supplement the nutrient supply with minerals and for health reasons, natural lime is also spread.

Organic products from the mobile chicken coop

In 2012, Wilfried Kaiser invested heavily in his branch of the business with a modern, mobile chicken coop. This created the ideal conditions for organic farming.

The chickens love to follow their own biorhythm so they can scratch and eat as and when they want. The mobile coop gives the chickens the opportunity to always have a green area for them. Of course, these eggs are particularly tasty because of the green fodder and the free access to the fresh air. The animals obviously feel at home in this environment. This results in eggs for gourmets who care about health and animal welfare!

Also try the homemade egg noodles, spelt and organic egg noodles, spaetzle or other specialties such as Black Forest lentils, oils and liqueurs. It's worth it!
